Defines eth/73 announcement and retrieval of EIP-8288 proof wrappers, targeting EIP-8288 as amended by #12590 (canonical, byte-bounded wrappers) and #12479 (block proof in the body). #12475 specifies the inclusion-list interaction.
Announcements carry dependency and transaction digests so equivalent coverage can be recognized despite different proof bytes. Both hints use fixed Keccak-256 encodings and are checked before proof verification; dependency equality alone does not identify the transactions.
Canonical wrappers include elided pooled transaction encodings and proofs within 2 MiB.
compact = 0returns full encodings;compact = 1permits references, with a full retry after a cache miss. Blob cells follow EIP-8070. Pool rejection does not invalidate a covering wrapper or prevent unchanged relay.Validation: EIP/Markdown lint and updated encoding, hint-matching, reconstruction and retry checks pass. Cryptographic verification and client integration remain untested.
