Version 0.2.1 does not open on Ubuntu 20.04

I've installed the deb package on my ubuntu 20.04 machine. The app is present in the Gnome applications menu, but when I try to launch it, it does not open.

Same issue here, trying to launch it from the terminal shows this error:

(MQTTBox:116187): Pango-ERROR **: 19:25:11.687: Harfbuzz version too old (1.2.7)

It looks like the only solution is to upgrade Electron: electron/electron#20348

seeing as last commit was more than a year ago the upgrade to latest electron probably won't happen. End of an era? It was my favorite client.
