A BtrBlocks-compressed chunk was executed into canonical form once per statistic that needs it (uncompressed size, min/max) and again by the compressor. Compressor plugins can now declare that they canonicalize their input, and the compressing strategy then canonicalizes the chunk once up front. Output files are unchanged.

This is really only an improvement if compressor gets non canonical chunks which I think is very rare
