This is a sample project written in Java to show how a simple selenium test is developed using webdriver and page object model. The version of selenium API is 2.39.0
After you have cloned or downloaded the project, just run "mvn package". It will run the maven build and also run the tests.
The project was tested using firefox 30.0 on mac OS X version 10.11.6
