Why
Vault technical metadata takes up a long table on the vault overview. Show its first four rows in a compact, faded preview, matching the existing vault description fold.
Lessons learnt
Measure the fourth row rather than using a fixed height so wrapped content and responsive typography determine the preview boundary. Open tooltips need to escape the clipping mask, and keyboard focus on a hidden row should reveal the full table. Without JavaScript, keep all details visible.
