I appreciate the contribution. Unfortunately, I never ended up using this package, and I don't have time to maintain it. If you want to use it, I think the best thing to do would be to fork it 👍 |

Libraries must not lock the upper bound unless it is a known and verified incompatibility. There is so much written about this, so I hope this change is obvious.
Could you please publish a patch release on PyPI after the merge?
