This plugin performs local encryption and decryption of your notes and attachments. While we strive to make the encryption process as reliable as possible, there are inherent risks involved:

1. Always backup your files before encryption

   • Make a complete backup of your vault, including all notes and attachments
   • Store your backup in a safe location
   • Consider using version control or cloud backup services

2. Password security is your responsibility

   • If you lose your password, there is NO WAY to recover your encrypted content
   • The plugin author cannot help you recover lost passwords or encrypted content
   • Store your passwords securely and consider using a password manager

3. Local encryption only

   • All encryption/decryption happens locally on your device
   • The plugin author has no access to your files or passwords
   • You are solely responsible for the security of your encrypted files

4. No liability

   • The plugin author is not responsible for any data loss
   • The plugin author cannot help recover lost or corrupted files
   • Use this plugin at your own risk

• Encrypt and decrypt files with password protection

Installation

1. Open Obsidian Settings
2. Go to Community Plugins
3. Turn off Safe Mode
4. Click Browse and search for "Encrypt All"
5. Click Install
6. Enable the plugin

Usage

1. Right-click on a file in the file explorer
2. Select "Encrypt file" or "Decrypt file"
3. Enter your password
4. The file will be encrypted/decrypted

Settings

• Auto Encrypt Timeout: Timeout in seconds before auto-encrypting files
• Language: Select your preferred language (English or Chinese)
