Product Overview

Examina is a structured, paper-first exam management system for secondary schools and universities. It digitizes the full exam workflow from creation to grading and analytics while preserving written exams.

Vision

Become the default infrastructure for running exams in schools by transforming manual processes into structured, reliable digital workflows.

User roles

  • Super Admin (School Owner): full system control, role assignment, and global oversight.
  • Admin: exam setup, subject management, and teacher assignment.
  • Teacher: question creation, script grading, and MCQ grading review.

Core capabilities

  • Subject management with semicolon-separated bulk input (for example: English;Marketing;Further Mathematics; spaces inside a subject name are allowed), plus edit/delete.
  • Student management with name, student ID, class, optional department, and class/department filtering.
  • Exam creation with title, subject, class, optional department filter, auto-selected students, and manual adjustments.
  • Question creation through rich-text editing and file upload.
  • MCQ Scantron flow with generated bubble sheets, answer keys, OMR grading, and manual override.
  • Theory answer script generation with student header, question/sub-question structure, and ruled answer lines.
  • Print outputs: question papers, scripts, scantron sheets (if needed), attendance sheets, and preview before download.
  • Scanning pipeline: upload, split pages, detect student IDs, group scripts, detect MCQ responses, with manual correction.
  • Grading with script viewer, rubric support, answer references, MCQ review, and remarks.
  • Results/analytics including average, median, score distribution, pass rate, anonymized charts, and PDF/Excel export.
