The DISMISS button in ,,manage recruits'' does nothing

Describe the bug
The dismiss button in ,,manage recruits'' does not dismiss soldiers

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Load game
2. Recruit a civilian or any soldier you can
3. Go to the ,,Manage Recruits'' menu
4. Select a unit in the ,,Manage Recruits'' menu
5. Click the DISMISS button

Expected behaviour
Selected unit is dismissed

Actual Behaviour
Selected unit is not dismissed

Additional context
I've tried making a new game multiple times to see if it was a problem with the current save -> problem persisted
Tried on Tanoa, Altis & Malden -> problem persisted
