fix(framework): guard type predicates against non-object and primitive values - #30951
This PR fixes a runtime TypeError encountered during contract generation inside monorepos and npm/Bun workspaces:
Cannot use 'in' operator to search for 'kind' in typeChoice
Root Cause
Type predicates including isAuthoringTypeConstructorDescriptor, isAuthoringTypeAliasDescriptor, isAuthoringTypeChoiceDescriptor, isAuthoringEntityTypeDescriptor, isAuthoringPslBlockDescriptor, and isAuthoringModelAttributeDescriptor directly evaluated 'kind' in value without verifying that value is a non-null object.
In JavaScript, executing 'key' in primitive throws a TypeError whenever the operand is a primitive (such as string 'typeChoice', numbers, booleans, null, or undefined). When traversing type namespaces or checking removed field presets where property values or leaf references contain primitive values, this caused contract generation commands to crash.
Furthermore, this directly violated the repository's rule in .agents/rules/type-predicates.mdc, which requires:
Added typeof value === 'object' && value !== null guards before checking 'kind' in value across authoring type predicates in framework-authoring.ts and contributed-type-scope.ts.
Guarded subNamespace in authoring-type-choice.ts and codecIdAt in removed-field-presets.ts against non-object traversal.
Added unit tests verifying all authoring type predicates safely return false on primitives ('typeChoice', '', 123, true, null, undefined, symbols) without throwing TypeError.
…e values
Predicates like isAuthoringTypeChoiceDescriptor and isAuthoringTypeConstructorDescriptor
previously checked 'kind' in value directly without verifying that value is a
non-null object. When encountering primitive values (e.g. the string 'typeChoice'
during namespace traversal or preset checks), JavaScript's in operator threw
TypeError: Cannot use 'in' operator to search for 'kind' in typeChoice.
This adds typeof value === 'object' && value !== null guards across authoring
type predicates and recursive namespace helper walks, aligning with the project's
type predicate rules.

Descriptor predicates now accept unknown values. Namespace filtering and nested lookups reject primitive and nullish values. Tests cover invalid inputs for authoring descriptors and removed-field preset lookup.

Summary
Authoring descriptor and namespace guards packages/1-framework/1-core/framework-components/src/shared/framework-authoring.ts, packages/1-framework/1-core/framework-components/src/shared/authoring-type-choice.ts, packages/1-framework/1-core/framework-components/test/framework-components.authoring.test.ts
Descriptor predicates accept unknown values and retain their kind checks. Namespace filtering rejects primitive and nullish members. Tests check that descriptor guards return false for primitive and nullish inputs.
Contributed type and preset lookup guards packages/1-framework/2-authoring/psl-parser/src/contributed-type-scope.ts, packages/2-sql-family/2-authoring/contract-ts/src/removed-field-presets.ts, packages/2-sql-family/2-authoring/contract-ts/test/removed-field-presets.test.ts
The contributed type predicate checks for a non-null object. Nested codec lookup recurses only for non-null objects. A test checks that invalid namespace members do not prevent the removed-preset refusal error.
This change hardens type-descriptor checks and namespace lookups so primitive and null values no longer cause a TypeError. The runtime fix looks safe to merge. The new test for invalid namespace members does not reach the guarded code, so it should be fixed to protect against regressions, which is a small follow-up.

Explanation
The title names the main change: guarding type predicates against non-object and primitive values. The raw summary shows predicates in framework-authoring.ts and contributed-type-scope.ts now accept unknown and check for non-null objects before using the in operator. The namespace traversal guards in authoring-type-choice.ts and removed-field-presets.ts also match the fix(framework) scope and the PR objective of avoiding a TypeError on primitive values. The title is specific and accurate, and it is within the 72-character guideline only loosely at 77 characters, which does not affect the assessment.
Full details: Linked Issues check
Explanation
Issue [#30939] reports a runtime TypeError from applying in to the primitive value typeChoice. The PR adds non-null object guards to all affected authoring predicates and to namespace traversal in authoring-type-choice.ts, contributed-type-scope.ts, and removed-field-presets.ts. Tests verify that the predicates reject strings, numbers, booleans, symbols, null, and undefined without throwing. A removed-field-preset test verifies tolerance of invalid namespace members. These changes address the reported failure without relying on the issue's unconfirmed dependency-mismatch hypothesis.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
The changed source files all protect authoring descriptor checks or namespace traversal from non-object values. The added tests cover those guards and the reported removed-field-preset path. No unrelated behavior or unrelated files appear in the whole-PR diff.

Docstring coverage is 20.00% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 10 functions across 6 files.

Set UuidString to null so id.uuidv4String reaches the guarded path. Keep the existing invalid siblings and assert the expected CONTRACT.FIELD_HELPER_UNKNOWN refusal.
