Summary

dithercn.dev is live, but /docs/installation still said "dithercn isn't deployed yet" and every hand-written install command on it and on /docs/examples used http://localhost:3000, so copying one failed for anyone not running the repo. This drops the callout and points those commands, and the README install section, at https://dithercn.dev. The manual skill download loop also gets landing-pages, which the skill links to but the loop skipped.

  After: the Vercel preview of 61123eb (fetched with vercel curl) has 0 localhost:3000 matches and no callout. DCN-44 Install docs still point at localhost:3000 now that dithercn.dev is live

Problem

dithercn.dev is live, but the installation docs still say the site isn't deployed and tell readers to install from a local copy. Every hand-written install command on /docs/installation and /docs/examples uses http://localhost:3000, so copying one fails for anyone who isn't running the repo.

The generated commands (the quick-start prompt, CommandBox, the registry and the skill files) already use https://dithercn.dev, because they read SITE_URL.

Goal

The docs and README point at https://dithercn.dev and no longer describe the site as unpublished.

Acceptance criteria

• ☐ /docs/installation has no "No public URL yet" callout
• ☐ No page on dithercn.dev contains localhost:3000
• ☐ The add commands, the skill download loop and the components.json namespace snippet use https://dithercn.dev
• ☐ The README install section uses https://dithercn.dev and keeps the local-development instructions

How to verify

After deploy, curl -s https://dithercn.dev/docs/installation | grep -c localhost prints 0, and the same holds for every URL in /sitemap.xml. Open /docs/installation at 1440 and 390 wide and check that the code blocks read correctly.

• The fallback origin in constants/site.ts, which local development still needs
• The launch gate (DCN-42)

Follow-up to DCN-36. The domain was attached to the Vercel project opencoredev/dithercn and SITE_URL=https://dithercn.dev set for production on 2026-10-21.
