ClawSweeper review

What this changes

Adds an empty Unreleased section above the published 0.13.4 changelog.

Merge readiness

Ready for maintainer review

This is a valid release follow-up: the documented release process calls for reopening Unreleased, and the fetched main branch does not yet contain that heading. No blocking defect was found.

Priority: P3

Review scores

Measure Result What it means
Overall readiness 🐚 platinum hermit (4/6) A focused, correct housekeeping patch consistent with the documented release process.
Proof confidence 🌊 off-meta tidepool Not applicable: This bot-authored changelog follow-up has no changed runtime behavior; the inspected diff directly establishes the intended result.
Patch quality 🐚 platinum hermit (4/6) No actionable review findings were identified.

Verification

Check Result Evidence
Real behavior Not applicable Not applicable: This bot-authored changelog follow-up has no changed runtime behavior; the inspected diff directly establishes the intended result.
Evidence reviewed 4 items Exact introduced change: The pinned base-to-head diff adds only the Unreleased heading and one blank line; all published release content remains intact.
Documented release closeout: The release guide explicitly says the workflow opens the next Unreleased changelog PR after publication and Homebrew handoff, matching the supplied bot-authored PR body.
Main and release comparison: The inspected main changelog starts with 0.13.4 and has no opening Unreleased section. Supplied repository metadata identifies this same main commit as release v0.13.4; the requested addition is therefore still necessary.
Findings None None.
Security None None.

How this fits together

Discrawl’s changelog records published releases and upcoming changes. The release closeout process opens the next section so future release notes have a designated place.

Technical review

Best possible solution:

Retain published release notes and provide one empty Unreleased section for the next development cycle.

Do we have a high-confidence way to reproduce the issue?

Not applicable: this is release housekeeping, and the exact textual change is directly inspectable.

Is this the best way to solve the issue?

Yes: the minimal heading addition follows the repository’s documented release closeout process without changing published notes.

AGENTS.md: not found in the target repository.

Labels

Label changes:

  • add P3: This is a two-line changelog housekeeping change with no runtime impact.
  • add rating: 🐚 platinum hermit: Overall readiness is 🐚 platinum hermit; proof is 🌊 off-meta tidepool and patch quality is 🐚 platinum hermit.
  • add status: 👀 ready for maintainer look: ClawSweeper has no concrete contributor-facing blocker left for this PR. Not applicable: This bot-authored changelog follow-up has no changed runtime behavior; the inspected diff directly establishes the intended result.

Label justifications:

  • P3: This is a two-line changelog housekeeping change with no runtime impact.
  • rating: 🐚 platinum hermit: Overall readiness is 🐚 platinum hermit; proof is 🌊 off-meta tidepool and patch quality is 🐚 platinum hermit.
  • status: 👀 ready for maintainer look: ClawSweeper has no concrete contributor-facing blocker left for this PR. Not applicable: This bot-authored changelog follow-up has no changed runtime behavior; the inspected diff directly establishes the intended result.

Evidence

What I checked:

  • Exact introduced change: The pinned base-to-head diff adds only the Unreleased heading and one blank line; all published release content remains intact. (CHANGELOG.md:3, cc350d11638f)
  • Documented release closeout: The release guide explicitly says the workflow opens the next Unreleased changelog PR after publication and Homebrew handoff, matching the supplied bot-authored PR body. (docs/RELEASING.md:29, cc350d11638f)
  • Main and release comparison: The inspected main changelog starts with 0.13.4 and has no opening Unreleased section. Supplied repository metadata identifies this same main commit as release v0.13.4; the requested addition is therefore still necessary. (CHANGELOG.md:3, 177a8281b130)
  • Release-area routing history: Recent changelog history identifies Peter Steinberger on the release commit and preceding release-note completion commit. Raw commit inspection confirms the release commit's author and recorded parent. Deeper pickaxe, blame, and patch-history inspection failed because a required Git object was unavailable and github.com DNS resolution failed; source-line introduction is not claimed. (CHANGELOG.md, 177a8281b130)

Likely related people:

  • Peter Steinberger: Suggested for follow-up; no historical authorship or introduction is verified. (role: unverified routing candidate; confidence: low)

Rating scale

Score Internal tier Crab rank Meaning
6/6 S 🦀 challenger crab Exceptional readiness
5/6 A 🦞 diamond lobster Very strong readiness
4/6 B 🐚 platinum hermit Good normal PR; ordinary maintainer review
3/6 C 🦐 gold shrimp Useful, but confidence is limited
2/6 D 🦪 silver shellfish Proof or implementation needs work
1/6 F 🧂 unranked krab Not merge-ready
N/A NA 🌊 off-meta tidepool Rating does not apply

Overall follows the weaker of proof and patch quality.
Shiny media proof means a screenshot, video, or linked artifact directly shows the changed behavior. Runtime, network, CSP, and security claims still need visible diagnostics.

Workflow

  • ClawSweeper keeps one durable marker-backed review comment per issue or PR.
  • Re-runs edit this comment so the latest verdict, findings, and automation markers stay together instead of adding duplicate bot comments.
  • A fresh review can be triggered by eligible @clawsweeper re-review comments, exact-item GitHub events, scheduled/background review runs, or manual workflow dispatch.
  • PR/issue authors and users with repository write access can comment @clawsweeper re-review or @clawsweeper re-run on an open PR or issue to request a fresh review only.
  • Maintainers can also comment @clawsweeper review to request a fresh review only.
  • Fresh-review commands do not start repair, autofix, rebase, CI repair, or automerge.
  • Maintainer-only repair and merge flows require explicit commands such as @clawsweeper autofix, @clawsweeper automerge, @clawsweeper fix ci, or @clawsweeper address review.
  • Maintainers can comment @clawsweeper explain to ask for more context, or @clawsweeper stop to stop active automation.

The requested Unreleased section is now on main in 27d307e (chore: open 0.13.5 unreleased). Its CHANGELOG.md is byte-for-byte identical to this PR branch; the published 0.13.4 section remains unchanged. Independent review found no actionable P0–P2 findings.

Release v0.13.4 completed successfully: https://github.com/openclaw/discrawl/actions/runs/33984727030. The GitHub assets, checksums, packaged changelogs, both macOS signature/notarization checks, Go proxy version, and Homebrew formula hashes were verified. This PR is now redundant and ready for orchestrator closure.

Closing as redundant: the 0.13.5 Unreleased section was already opened directly on main in 27d307e as part of the v0.13.4 closeout.
