[Feature Request]: Show the name of removed channel along the <n/a>

Problem
When doing a channel scan with delete, removed or changed channels are shown as <n/a>. User has no idea what was this before

Possible solution
Instead only showing the <n/a> text show the last known name also before or after the <n/a>

The n/a is because of a deleted entry in lamedb.
You can’t use the name to identify the service because the provider are frequently changing also the name of the service and the service names are not distinct.

That means bad new: An automatically fix of this broken bouquet file is nearly impossible because some decisions must be made by the user manually.

If all names in lamedb are unique per provider and if the provider has not changed the name of a service then it’s half automated possible.

I think you misunderstood.
I am asking to keep the old name of the service for information only. Example:

Channel ARD is changing frequency or something else important the name of the now obsolete channel should be <n/a> ARD
This helps user do decide where to put the new appended ARD and to delete the obsolete channel

Just <n/a> ist too unclear and in case there is plenty of it the user is lost

Alternatives for displaying obsolete services can be

I think you don't understand how the service scan works.
A service scan will delete all entries in lamedb and you have no backup of the old sref from a service if the sref of a service no longer exists in the new lamedb and this is why you get n/a.
Each bouquet file only contains srefs and the bouquet files will be complete untouched on a service scan.

If a channel changes its frequency or name, I recognize it by the picon.
I can easily tell which channel it was just by looking at the picon.
