Problem

Fix

  • Added a Storage availability page under building-your-application/patterns/.
  • Covers: reading storage with app.getStorageEstimate() (browser totals + per-subsystem bytes — catch Store, logger, total), warning thresholds / storage:pressure, the persistence API, and Safari's 7-day eviction (and how "Add to Home Screen" avoids it).

  • Dropped the measureSubsystems: false option, it's not a real arg. app.getStorageEstimate() takes no args and always measures subsystems.
  • Removed the "init snapshot is lightweight" note, init runs the same full estimate, so those per-subsystem numbers are already populated by ready, not null.
  • Fixed the React example to handle percentUsed being null (it was only checking supported).
  • Softened the "Add to Home Screen also gets persist() granted" line since you can't actually force a grant.
