Failed to import XML

Hello @nilsteampassnet !

I had upgrade the Teampass for version 3.1.4.15, and I can import my passwords, but when I click in "execute", It show Reading file and never pass this, follow the attachment.

Steps to reproduce
Import XML or CSV file.

Server configuration
Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS

Web server: Apache/2.4.58

Database: mariadb Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.11.11-MariaDB, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64)

PHP version: PHP 8.4.6

Teampass version: version 3.1.4.12.

can you check your logs under /var/logs/apache2/error.log
Every time I got this error it was because of the formatting in my csv.
In my errorlog there was something like not the right number of columns -> reason, somewhere in my entrys was a comma that shouldnt be there.

edit: for the keepass-xml try different folder depths i had Problems in the root level

looks like that in your file is a comma, that dont belong to the formatting and has to be escaped or there ist something wrong with the characteristics in the first line.

As for your entries Test the import with solo entries

Yes, I am trying with csv format and I am trying with one line in my csv file

you create the csv with excel?
Try creating the csv with editor or notepad++.
When i was trying to import the passwords i got some problems with the csv from excel.

You can test it with the file above. With this i could upload my items
Open it with editor or notepad++ and just hit save and not save as

But when I created a csv file in notepad++, I managed to import the csv file

If its works with your new csv i suggest that you copy and paste your entries from your other csv into your new csv. If an error appear, then try 10 or 20 entries at the same time.

Is the xml file exported from keepass directly?
If you want to import an xml file it has to be formatted like an keepass export.

Yes, the file is exported from keepass.

Did you try to import it on root folder or subfolder. I think i had problems with root folder but not subfolder.
