Common Problems

When you start using conpot, you may run into different problems concerning your system configuration of third party libraries. This page tries to tackle them by listing error messages along with the most probable reason.

Error messages during startup:

"TypeError: registerRecvCbFun() takes exactly 2 arguments (3 given)"

Please upgrade to PySNMP >= 4.2.5, since the default behaviour of PySNMP changed with this release.
