Description

Adds a temperature chart mode that plots each heater as a percentage of its target. The existing view remains the default. Relative mode also shows the percentage in the tooltip, followed by the current and target temperatures.

📝 Walkthrough

The temperature chart adds an optional relative-to-target view. It converts valid temperature and target pairs to percentages, adjusts the chart axes and series, and updates the tooltip display. The temperature panel exposes the setting and disables autoscale when it is enabled.

Changes: Relative temperature chart

Layer / File(s) Summary
Relative-to-target setting
src/components/panels/Temperature/TemperaturePanelSettings.vue, src/store/gui/index.ts, src/store/gui/types.ts
The temperature panel adds a “Relative to target” checkbox. The setting defaults to false, is stored through gui/saveSetting, and disables autoscale when enabled.
Relative chart data and rendering
src/components/charts/TempChart.vue, src/main.ts, src/store/printer/tempHistory/types.ts
In relative mode, TempChart converts valid temperature and target values to percentages, adjusts axes and series, marks endpoints around data gaps, and displays a status message when relative temperatures are unavailable. ECharts registration and series types support mark points.
Tooltip and displayed source
src/components/charts/TempChart.vue
Tooltips show percentages alongside Celsius values for valid relative data and use viewport-aware positioning. The source watcher updates displayed chart data when source, hover, or visibility changes.

Full details: Linked Issues check

Explanation

Issue #566 requests a temperature chart that normalizes each temperature to its target so heater behavior is easier to inspect. TempChart.vue implements relative-to-target data and axis handling, hides target points from the axis pointer, and shows relative values with current and target temperatures in the tooltip. TemperaturePanelSettings.vue exposes the mode, while src/store/gui/index.ts keeps it disabled by default. The issue states no separate automated-test requirement.

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check

Explanation

The changes stay within issue #566. The setting, default state, chart normalization, tooltip behavior, axis handling, unavailable-data message, and source-update handling support the requested chart mode. No unrelated change is established.

Full details: Docstring Coverage

Explanation

No functions found in the changed files to evaluate docstring coverage. Skipping docstring coverage check. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff. Analyzed 0 functions across 4 files. (1 skipped: 1 unsupported.)

Add the new temperature-chart keys to every supported locale.

Only src/locales/en.json defines RelativeToTarget, NoRelativeTemperatures, and RelativeTemperaturesInChart. The other 21 supported locale files omit all three keys. Add translated values for these keys to each locale so non-English users do not see raw translation keys.

I think there is a miss understood to the FR. I think the relative value should be +/- 0°C instead of "100% of the target".

(I just checked your screenshot...)

I went with percentages because the graph in #566 is centered around 1.0, so I figured that was what they meant. But either works for me :) I've already changed it to +/- °C.
