Replaces #389.

The homepage dashboard and chat slots now play clips rendered from Fanout's own interface components at 1920 x 1200, in light and dark, instead of screen captures.

  • Dashboard (30 s, loops): one request builds a store overview dashboard; after the save receipt and Open dashboard, the clip tours the eleven panels (stats, by-service request rate, error rate and p95 latency, the service map, slowest operations, recent error logs and slowest traces).
  • Chat (15 s, loops): "Which service is slowest right now?" leads to the system health check, a service latency table and the answer.

Data comes from the OpenTelemetry Demo running in the project's test lab. Stats, charts and the receipt are as recorded. The slowest operations and slowest traces were re-queried on the same window without flagd's long-lived streams. The service map leaves out services with no traced call. The error log rows are real messages and trace IDs; twelve of them come from the same lab's previous week and are shown on that hour's timestamps. The caption now reads "Fanout interface · OpenTelemetry Demo data" rather than "Recorded on the OpenTelemetry Demo", and the "sped up" label is removed.

Changes:

  • landing-media.json points at the new files under assets.fanout.run/videos/ (all eight return 200).
  • New 1280 x 800 posters, homepage text and alt text for both slots.
  • The README image is the new dashboard at 1920 x 1200 and links to fanout.run.
  • site/public/logo.svg: the Fanout logo lockup for directories that need one.

npm run build in site/ passes, including the table, social card, canonical and benchmark checks.

The flowing-F mark beside a lowercase Figtree 700 wordmark, with the
letters outlined as paths and a transparent background. Served at
/logo.svg for directories that require a named logo.
The dashboard and chat slots now show clips rendered from Fanout's own
interface components at 1920 x 1200, with OpenTelemetry Demo data from the
project's test lab. The dashboard clip builds a store overview from one
request and tours its eleven panels; the chat clip answers which service is
slowest. The caption says "Fanout interface · OpenTelemetry Demo data"
instead of "Recorded", and the sped-up label is gone.

Posters and the README image come from the same renders. The README image
links to fanout.run.
The manifest points the dashboard and chat slots at the new MP4 and WebM
files under assets.fanout.run/videos/.
