Pick the latest release, then download the Windows file that matches your computer. If you see more than one file, choose the one with .exe in the name.
- Open the releases page.
- Find the newest version at the top.
- Download the Windows app file.
- If Windows asks for permission, choose Run or Yes.
- If a zip file downloads, open it and move the app file to a folder you can find again.
- Double-click the app to start it.

Typical setup steps:

- Connect it to your pi account or local pi service.
- Allow message access.
- Send a test DM to confirm the bridge works.
If the app opens in a terminal window, leave that window open while the bridge runs.
After setup, use Telegram as normal.
- Send a direct message to the Telegram account linked to pi-telegram.
- Let the bridge pass the message to pi.
- Read the response in Telegram.
- Keep the app running if you want the bridge to stay active.
For best results, keep your Windows PC on and connected to the internet.
Open the app file you downloaded from the releases page.
Close the app window or end the process from Task Manager.
Go back to the releases page, download the newest version, then replace the old file.
If Telegram signs out, open the app again and follow the sign-in steps.
