UPDATE[FIX] THOSE WHO VIEWING THIS ARTICLE FOLLOW THESE STEPS BELOW:
Here is a clear, step-by-step message you can share to help them get the 2.0.0.0-rc.1 launch failure fix working in their fork:

1. Go to your branches:
   Navigate to your forked repository. Click on Branches, which is located right next to the master (or main) branch dropdown.

2. Start a new branch:
   Click the New branch button.

3. Set the source:
   Set up the source for this new branch to pull from the official feature/rc_v_2.0.0.0 branch. This is why the 2.0 option was missing for you before!

4. Name and create:
   Give your new branch a name and click Create new branch.

5. Build the project:
   Build the project as you normally would, making sure to select your newly created branch.

Important Reminder for Future Updates:
When syncing your fork to get the latest updates, remember that you have to sync each branch individually.

Same issue. Patching it will break the app and wont open at all. No crash notice either in the logs

Has anyone attempted to downgrade Wand and disable auto updates?

I saw I had v12.50.0 and v12.40.0 when I patch the latter one, it opens up but it doesn't take the patch. if i patch v12.50.0 it does not open.

To anyone using the current version of wand (v12.50.0) I had to downgrade it to v.12.48.0 and it worked heres the link to the reddit comment that haves it and make sure to reinstall.
