Claude CLI 2.1.293 maps haiku to claude-haiku-5-5 (CLI-reported: 1M context, 128k max output). The live tests pin the observed model for the alias, so they failed closed, which is the intended behaviour. The daemon settings don't pin an observed model, so production decisions were unaffected.

  • tests/helpers/vcr.ts: the observed model is claude-haiku-5-5.
  • Model registry: the haiku alias is labelled Haiku 5.5 with a 1M window; the API list gains claude-haiku-5-5, and claude-haiku-4-5 moves to the previous generation. No price was added because there's no source for it.
  • Wizard labels.
  • Re-recorded with bun run test:live. Drift reviewed: on every claude result, the modelUsage key changed from claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 to claude-haiku-5-5 with the same fields. The Codex cassettes were re-recorded with no drift.

Full bun run check passes.

Claude CLI 2.1.293 maps `haiku` to claude-haiku-5-5 (1M context, 128k
output). The live tests pin the observed model, so they failed closed as
designed. Update the expectation, the registry and wizard labels, add
claude-haiku-5-5 to the API models (4.5 moves to the previous generation),
and re-record. Drift reviewed: only the modelUsage key changed.
