I don't see the test wiring / network restriction here. Please make sure that tests are wired up and pass even if you have the restriction.

The pypi release does not include the tests and the github archiev can not be used with hatch-vcs

In such a case, the commit message should say that (or just ask), but you can fix the hatch issue by using https://projects.gentoo.org/python/guide/distutils.html#setuptools-scm-flit-scm-hatch-vcs-pdm-backend-and-snapshots
