Update: the demo build no longer uses browserify+babelify (babelify was abandoned since 2018, so that path was a dead end anyway) — it's been converted to Rollup, matching tabbable and focus-trap. That means this repo now shares the exact same babel-8 blocker as those two: @rollup/plugin-babel's latest release (7.1.0) peer-caps @babel/core at ^7.0.0. Leaving this open until that package ships babel-8 support, same as the sibling repos.
