[Discussion] Looking to Provide Support - Request #4760

Hello, hello

First, I want to personally thank everyone a part of the team for their time and contribution(s).

Overview

It seems that the project has been receiving some... weird and unjust heat, recently. While I am in belief that the project is incredibly stable at this time, I see pull requests that may have been lost due to timely responses.

I get it -- I can only imagine we're all busy with our actual day jobs, doing, well, the same thing we're doing here.

I've been looking for quite some to a larger project to contribute to; I was thinking about IBM's Carbon-Design-Framework, but ever since I've shifted away from FastAPI as a backend, to express, I'm definitely much more interested in this project.

Bottom-line: I'd like to better understand what express is currently experiencing the most issues/problems with, and help out :D

Background

The last three years I've been active 5-6 days a week contributing to various open source projects I created. Recently, I've since moved from my personal instance (GitLab*) to GitHub.
