fix: write a text box of auto height 1in tall, so WPS Office fits it to its text - #3858
Every Textbox is written with mso-fit-shape-to-text, so Word, WPS, LibreOffice and Pages make the box as tall as its text, whatever its height. WPS, though, fits a box of auto height (or one with no height) too short by its top and bottom insets (7.2 pt), cutting off its last line. With a definite height it fits the text exactly, growing a 20 pt box with three lines and shrinking a 100 pt one. Word writes a definite height for every text box it saves.
So a text box without a height, or with "auto", is now written height:1in. Any height of 8 pt or more works in all four applications. 1in also gives apps that don't fit the box to its text, such as docx-preview on the docs site, a few lines of room rather than their own default.

text-box.md's "Fixed Size" section said a height fixes the box's size, which none of those applications do. Sizing now says what height does, and why "auto" is written as 1in.
Tested
The text box demo built from this branch: in WPS both visible boxes fit their text. In Word for Mac the three shapes are 19.4 pt tall, as with 9.15.0. LibreOffice lays it out the same as 9.15.0.
New specs: "auto" is written as 1in in place, and a given height is kept. They fail without the fix. createShape's and Textbox's specs now expect height:1in when no height is given.
npm run test:ci (417 files, 6562 tests, 100% coverage), npm run build, tsc --noEmit, eslint, prettier and cspell.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Text boxes with a style but no height now use a 1-inch height. Automatic height is also saved as 1 inch, while explicit heights remain unchanged. Text boxes without a style remain unchanged.
Documentation
Clarified that text box width should be set in its style and described how office apps and page previews handle box sizing. Removed the sizing examples.
…to its text
Since 9.8.0 (#3541) WPS Office draws Textbox, which it showed blank
before (#3171), but it makes a box of auto height too short by its top
and bottom insets, cutting off the text's last line. Word, WPS,
LibreOffice and Pages all fit the box to its text from any definite
height of 8pt or more (mso-fit-shape-to-text is always written), so a
text box without a height, or with "auto", is now written 1in tall.
Word's and LibreOffice's layouts are unchanged; docx-preview, which
doesn't fit the box, draws it 1in tall rather than at its own default.
text-box.md's "Fixed Size" section said a height fixes the box's size,
which none of those applications do, so Sizing now says what height
does.

Walkthrough
Textbox shape creation adds a 1in height when a supplied style omits height or sets it to "auto". Explicit heights and omitted styles remain unchanged. Tests and usage guidance describe the serialized style and sizing behavior.

createShape uses 1in when an existing style omits height or sets it to "auto". Tests confirm that explicit heights remain unchanged and that omitted styles remain omitted. The usage guide describes width and height behavior across applications.
The height fallback preserves explicit heights and leaves styleless boxes unchanged. No concrete merge-blocking risk is established; merge after normal checks.

Explanation
The title names the main change: a text box with auto height is now written as 1 inch tall so WPS Office fits the box to its text. The changeset matches this. shape.ts adds a 1in height when a style has no height or has "auto", and shape.spec.ts and textbox.spec.ts cover the new behavior. The docs in text-box.md explain the sizing rules.

Explanation
[#3171] The issue reports that a DOCX demo with a Textbox opens blank in WPS. The blank-box part is addressed by existing code at the reviewed head: Textbox in src/file/textbox/textbox.ts writes the w:pict inside a w:r run when it is a child of w:p. This PR adds the remaining WPS fix in src/file/textbox/shape/shape.ts. createShape now sets height: 1in on a supplied style when its height is absent or "auto". A given height is kept. The mso-fit-shape-to-text:t; setting stays in place. The specs in shape.spec.ts and textbox.spec.ts check this serialization. The WPS rendering result (boxes fit their text in WPS Office for Mac 12.1) is author-reported manual testing. It cannot be confirmed from the repository, but the coding change matches the stated fix.

…issing height is written 1in
The docs said any text box without a height is written 1 inch tall, but
a text box with no style is written without one. Such a box has no width
either: Word draws it 50pt wide and LibreOffice gives it none, and
writing height:1in on it changes neither, so it stays without a style.
