Release candidate for 2.0.0.

From October 1, 2026, Global Derivatives on Coinbase Advanced Trade run on a Deribit-powered gateway instead of INTX. This release adds clients for the new gateway. See the Global Derivatives overview for the migration details.

What's new

• coinbase.deribit with DeribitRetailClient (REST) and DeribitRetailWSClient (WebSocket). Both use your existing CDP API keys (Ed25519 or ECDSA).
• The WebSocket client connects to the market data host without keys and to the trading host with keys. It re-authenticates before the token expires, reconnects and restores subscriptions, and never resends an order after a dropped connection.
• When an INTX perpetuals call on RESTClient fails, the SDK logs the Global Derivatives method to use instead.
• README section "Global Derivatives Clients" and an API reference page for the new clients.

Other changes

• Requires Python 3.10 or newer. Python 3.8 and 3.9 users get 1.8.4.
• Raises the minimum versions of requests, cryptography and PyJWT.
• CI now tests Python 3.10 to 3.14.

Spot and US Derivatives on RESTClient and WSClient are unchanged.

pip install coinbase-advanced-py keeps installing 1.8.4 until 2.0.0 is released.
