GitHub withdrew GHSA-vfj7-8cjw-p6xm on 2026-10-23, so npm audit no longer reports it and check:audit fails on the stale allowlist entry. Remove the entry and its SECURITY.md row, and make main() take the allowlist as a parameter so the CLI tests keep exercising every arm of the gate now that the shipped allowlist is empty. …ncf#1854) data/launch-metrics.json existed to seed a 90-day post-launch comparison against targets fixed in scripts/collect-launch-metrics.mjs (issue cncf#100). No site page read it; its only consumers were its own validator, the Validate repository step, the Justfile build recipe and the tests that pinned why the collector had no schedule. With the launch plan retired (cncf#1841) and the announcement tracker closed under ADR 0008 rule 6 (cncf#1837), the check-in is withdrawn and the machinery goes with it: collector, validator, data file, their tests, the npm scripts, the CI and Justfile steps, and the CONTRIBUTING.md rows and rule. The refresh-wiring and workflow-scripts allowlists lose their entries for the collector, and the validate-utils fixtures that used the file path as a label now name data/metrics.json. Remit: maintainer-filed work (maintainer decision on cncf#1837).
