[ci-maintainer] Import reference architectures fails at validate:architectures — SVG→PNG conversion does not rewrite asset reference (run 35175044427)

CI Issue

The daily Import reference architectures workflow now fails one step later than before. The librsvg2-bin fix landed (the apt install step runs and import:architectures succeeds), but npm run validate:architectures fails:

Root cause: scripts/import-architectures.mjs converts raster-embedded SVGs to PNG:

but does not rewrite the asset reference in the architecture MDX/frontmatter, which still points at the .svg path. Validation then looks for an .svg that the import deliberately never wrote.

Evidence

• Failing run: 35175044427 (2026-09-17T02:36, schedule), step Run npm run validate:architectures, exit 1.
• Prior failure mode (raster-embedded SVG rejection, missing rsvg-convert) is resolved — this supersedes the remaining part of [ci-maintainer] Import reference architectures fails daily: raster-embedded SVGs, rsvg-convert missing (fix PR #49 open) #121.

Recommendation

In scripts/import-architectures.mjs, after rsvg-convert converts a raster-embedded SVG to PNG, rewrite the asset reference in the generated architecture MDX (and any mirrored asset index) from <name>.svg to <name>.png so validate:architectures checks the file that actually exists.

Coordination note: scripts/import-architectures.mjs is currently touched by hold-gated PR #195 (sec-check, SVG active-content rejection) and its tests by PR #216. This fix should land after/rebased on those to avoid conflicts.

Completion criterion

• Import reference architectures scheduled run passes validate:architectures with the two raster-embedded architectures present as PNG assets referenced from their MDX.

Re-verified 2026-09-19: still failing daily (latest run 35416042974, 8th consecutive red scheduled run). Current failure mode confirmed at the validate:architectures step:

Checked static/ on main: only the .png conversions exist for both (swisscom-cloud-native-telco-automation-architecture-overview.png, solutionArchitecture.png) — the MDX records still reference the .svg paths. Note for whoever lands PR #242: the script fix stops new bad references, but these two existing records need their references rewritten (or a re-import) before the daily workflow goes green.
