What is EchoRank?

EchoRank (https://echorank.com) is a free toolkit for measuring and improving AI search visibility (GEO — Generative Engine Optimization).

Tools included:

  • GEO Checker — scores your site's visibility to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini (12+ signals)
  • llms.txt Generator — auto-generates the llms.txt standard for your site
  • AI Citation Gap Analyzer — measures brand mentions in AI search engines
  • Agentic UX Auditor — audits readiness for autonomous AI agents

Why it belongs in awesome-seo:

As AI search engines become a primary discovery channel, GEO is becoming a required discipline alongside traditional SEO. EchoRank is currently the only free, no-account-required, publicly accessible tool that provides a comprehensive GEO audit.

Tool / Resource Details

Name: EchoRank
Link: https://echorank.com
Relevance to SEO: EchoRank directly extends traditional SEO into GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) by auditing the signals that determine whether AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) cite a website. It checks schema markup, llms.txt presence, robots.txt AI crawler policies, and semantic structure — all of which affect organic visibility in the AI search era.
