About Me

I'm Alejandro, a developer focused on building useful tools, expressive interfaces, and highly personal computing environments.

I enjoy working close to the system: Linux desktops, developer tooling, automation, terminal workflows, and interfaces that feel fast and intentional. I care about the details that turn technically correct software into software people actually enjoy using.

Focus: Backend systems, Go, Linux, local AI infrastructure
Currently: Building open-source tools and a personal Linux ecosystem
Mindset: Make it reliable. Make it fast. Make it yours.

What I Build

Linux & Desktop UX Backend & Systems
Custom Hyprland and Quickshell environments with dynamic panels, notifications, control centers, system telemetry, and keyboard-first workflows. Backend services, local AI infrastructure, developer tooling, and automation designed to be reliable outside of a demo.

Featured Projects

Project Description Stack
dotfiles A modular Linux desktop ecosystem built around Hyprland, Quickshell, Fish, and Neovim. Shell, QML, Lua
attack-shark-linux A Linux configurator for the Attack Shark X6 mouse, which ships with zero official Linux support. Full HID protocol reverse-engineered from scratch with Ghidra and USB captures, validated live against the real dongle. Go, TypeScript, Linux
relay-mcp An MCP server that gives AI agents persistent PTY sessions — real "eyes" on a terminal instead of one-shot shell commands — so they can drive interactive tools like git rebase -i or a TUI. Go, Shell

Open Source Contributions

I also contribute to open-source projects from Gentleman Programming, focused on AI-assisted development and developer infrastructure.

Project Contribution Area
Engram Persistent memory for AI coding agents, backed by Go, SQLite, FTS5, MCP, HTTP, CLI, and TUI tooling.
Gentle AI AI-assisted engineering workflows, developer tooling, and automation.
