How to remove LCPL DRM from ebooks? #2459

Description

(Hello, first post, please be gentle)

Ebooks.com recently switched from Adobe to LCPL DRM for their ebooks (ebooks from Google Play still use Adobe AFAICT). Up till now, I've successfully used Calibre (7.26.0) with DeACSM (0.0.16) and DeDRM (10.0.3) plugins to free my purchased ebooks.

I added the LCPL Input (0.0.5) plugin to Calibre as well and added the LCPL passcode from ebooks.com to DeDRM, but was unable to get it to work.

There is supposed to be a way to use the Thorium reader to crack LCPL DRM (rather involved by the looks of it), but the only version that this worked with (3.10? I think?) has been taken down. Any ideas how I might be able to de-LCPL using Calibre?

(Tried to do some research on this before asking, apologies if it's been addressed elsewhere).

Edited for spelling, grammar and clarity.
