While scanning all WorldHealthOrganization/smart-* repos for a readiness survey of published SMART Guidelines content, I noticed smart-anc has active authorship but no consumable package anywhere — which may be invisible from the inside, so filing a friendly heads-up.
What I observed (2026-08-19):
- No package.tgz at any of the four distribution points: the build.fhir.org auto-builder,
worldhealthorganization.github.io/smart-anc/, smart.who.int/anc/, or the packages2.fhir.org registry (no smart.who.int.anc entry has ever been published there).
- The repo's GitHub Pages deployment status is
errored.
- The
ghbuild workflow is failing — most recently on br-changes-2026-07-28 (latest run, failing in the "Prepare DAK environment" step of the shared smart-base workflow). On master, the last ghbuild attempt failed in October 2025 (run); the last success I can find anywhere is July 2025 on release-candidate.
Why it may matter more than it looks: the repo currently has ~115 .cql files on the default branch — one of the largest CQL bodies in the whole smart-* corpus — and none of it is reachable by any downstream consumer (IG dependencies, tooling, or execution environments) while publication is dark.
