2026 Robot Logs

Logs pulled off the roboRIO and the Driver Station laptop for Spectrum 3847's 2026 robot.

Everything lives in releases, not in git history. WPILib data logs gzip to about half their size and the roboRIO accumulates gigabytes of them, so committing would put that in the repo permanently and every clone would pay for it. Release assets do not enter history.

Getting logs back

What is in a release

asset	what it is
FRC_*.wpilog.gz	WPILib data log, one per robot code start. gunzip to read.
*.hoot.gz	Phoenix signal log from CTRE devices.
ds-logs-*.tar.gz	Driver Station .dslog / .dsevents from the laptop.

Adding to it

From the robot code repo:

tools/archive-logs.sh --ds-logs      # Driver Station logs from this laptop
tools/archive-logs.sh --delete       # roboRIO logs, then clear them off the rio

Nothing is deleted until the upload has been verified on the release.
