The possibility to do "New Document From Template" or set the default "New File" to be blank, like now, else a designated template file.
Why?
Every day I receive more e-mail than I can read in one day.
Recently I've started using the macOS builtin AI-driven text management tools. I've found "Summary" and "Key Points" to be the most useful.
My workflow at the moment is:
Open an e-mail
Copy the content
Open Clearly with <command>+N
Paste
To the top of this file I add the following MD
# Summary
# Key Points
# Original
Next I select the original pasted text and run Key Points, then copy/ paste into the Key Points section.
Finally I select the original pasted text and run Summary, then copy/ paste into the Summary section.
Then I save the file based on the mailing list and date.
Then I read the MD and if necessary the original. This is much like going to a university library and reading the abstracts of scholarly journals. If warranted, the abstract tells you to read the whole thing.
I'd like to be able to create & later open a template with <command>+N (or another keystroke) that opened a file containing the above markup. I'd like to be able to choose between default templates.
