🐛 Bug - Missing Open Graph metadata and malformed SEO title on SSW Rules pages #2697
SSW Rules pages in Rules V3 (TinaCMS) are missing Open Graph metadata, resulting in incomplete social media previews when links are shared. The current implementation does not provide an Open Graph image, and the SEO title contains malformed characters, likely caused by quotes being included in the generated title. Investigate and update the metadata generation to ensure social previews render correctly and titles are sanitized. If possible, support dynamic Open Graph images using People data; otherwise, implement a default Open Graph image.
Acceptance Criteria
SSW Rules pages include valid Open Graph metadata for title, description, and image.
A valid Open Graph image is displayed when SSW Rules links are shared on social media platforms.
SEO titles are sanitized and do not contain malformed or unexpected characters.
Quotes and other problematic characters are handled correctly during SEO title generation.
If dynamic Open Graph images are supported, the image can be populated from People data.
If dynamic Open Graph images are not supported, a default fallback Open Graph image is used.
Metadata renders correctly when validated using common social sharing preview tools.
Reproduce Steps
Open an SSW Rules page in Rules V3 (TinaCMS).
Inspect the page metadata or preview the URL in a social media sharing debugger.
Observe that the Open Graph image is missing.
Observe that the SEO title contains malformed or unexpected characters.
Share the URL on a social media platform and confirm the preview only displays a minimal banner without a proper image.
