The deny-list gate matched the crypto_secrets category, which fits this PR's changes to project secret API key scopes (posthog/scopes.py, posthog/api/test/test_project_secret_api_keys.py) and the key-only read access in the new status view. The tier gate classified it as T2-never: 548 lines across 13 files, cross-cutting, and a new feature.
A human reviewer needs to look at this one. Ask a maintainer, ideally someone who owns API authentication or scopes, to review it. You could also split the scope allowlist change into its own small PR so the endpoint, services and generated types can be reviewed separately.

Changes
GET /api/projects/:project_id/messaging/emails/:message_id/returns{ id, status, created_at, status_at, reason }.statusis one ofqueued,sent,failed,delivered,bouncedorcomplained.reasonsays why an email failed (a provider error, a skip reason, or a run error) or how it bounced (hard,soft,unknown).404. A send can also answer404for a few seconds after its202.email_status:argMax(..., version)on the sort key(team_id, message_id). A window oncreated_atprunes it to one daily partition.created_atfrom the UUIDTmessage_id. So the read needs no other lookup, and an ID dated in the future or past retention answers404without a query.Workload.OFFLINE, because the callers are servers that poll with a project secret API key.401.hog_flow:read, so a polling service does not need a key that can also send.
