nv-control-warpblend stopped working with driver version 570

I have used the warp and blend features outlined in the nv-contro-warpblend.c sample code for many years now with different NVIDIA RTX cards on Ubuntu Linux.

Since the switch to the nvidia version 570 from 550 today they don't work any more.

There is no error, the warping and blending simply stopped. I have reverted to driver version 550 and the code started working again.

Is there any change on how the warp and blend features of the NVIDIA RTX cards are acessed which is not reflected in the nv-control-warpblend sample code?

I have tested it in 580.65.06 and the newest libXNVCtrl library from the master branch here. Still no warping and blending available for my RTX 4080. I have reverted back to driver version 550 and there it works. Something must have happened, most likely in the NVIDIA Driver itself. Any test someone could do to verify?

How to test:
run the sample code in this repository: ./nv-control-warpblend X where X is your Display Number

Expected Result: your selected display should warp and blend according to test specs
Works in driver version 550
Does not do anything in driver version 570 and 580. Does not return any error either
