Welcome

Name: mosey (Denan Li)

Description:

  • I am a third-year PhD candidate at Department of Physics, Westlake University.
  • I am supervised by Prof. Shi Liu @ Multiscale Materials Modeling Laboratory.
  • I manage the wiki and website of our group.
  • I use GitHub to manage source data and input files for my publications. If you have any questions, you can email me (see Contact for my email).
  • I also use GitHub to collaborate with others on open-source projects. I also maintain my projects (e.g., ferrodispcalc, focusing on the extraction of order parameters for ferroelectrics from MD simulations)

Research Interests

  • I am interested in computational condensed matter physics.
  • In particular, I focus on ferroelectric materials, especially their dynamic response under an external field (e.g., Switching, Piezoelectricity, Thermal Conducivity).
  • To understand them, I often adopt a multi-scale approach: Density Functional Theory + Molecular Dynamics + Machine Learning Force Fields + Phenomenological Theory.
  • Besides, I am also interested in the development of new machine learning force fields.
