Red Grain Xbox 1.6

I have the latest version 2.1.10 and I experience what looks to be a red grain on certain surfaces within 720p mode that I do not experience when in 480p.

I am experiencing the same issue. On an xbox v1.6 with xboxhdmi firmware 2.10.0. Only occurs when 720p upscale is enabled and only during certain games. Repeatable with Capcom VS SNK 2 and Jet Grind/Set Radio Future. Does not occur with 480p upscale.

Same issue on another 1.6. Set to 720p and running the latest firmware (I believe 2.2 now)
I have not tried running on 480p, but it definitely has a grain issue (and sometimes scan lines that move up and down)

This is caused by improper flex cable soldering. GitHub isn’t really the place for troubleshooting, you should check out the makemhz discord.

I'll give it another go then. The joints looked fine on the first and second attempt, measured 33ohms from one side of the resistor to the flex, though maybe was just measuring the solder and not the contact to the pad. Thanks!
