Project Overview

Android app for landlords using Regent Court Letting Agency. This was built as part of a university team project for the COM31007 module.

This app is a basic demonstration of android development using Kotlin and Compose UI. All of the data is stored locally via the 'Rooms' sqlite database and there is no backend server.

Prerequisites

You will need a Mapbox API key:

1. Make an account at https://www.mapbox.com/, we signed up with university emails - no bank details required
2. Once you’re registered and through to the console, you’ll see a token in the top right - copy that
3. In your local.properties file in the root of the repository, add this line:

MAPBOX_ACCESS_TOKEN=YOUR_TOKEN_HERE

Getting Started

1. Sync the project in Android Studio to download dependencies.
2. Connect an Android device or start an emulator.
3. Run the app from Android Studio.
