Hi ! This is an unofficial, open-source Discord client for your Wear OS watch built and tested for Pixel Watch and Galaxy Watch (but should run on any modern WearOS).
This is a maintained fork of Zaffox/Discord-WearOS on GitHub, kept alive after the original project went inactive. The assets, screenshots, and most of the code are from that repo.

- Direct messages and servers
- Channel browsing with categories, pin/hide options
- Chat with emoji, stickers, GIFs and reactions
- Voice message recording
- QR-code login (no token copy-pasting)
- User profile screen and picture upload
- In-app updates from GitHub Releases
All of this from your wrist !
- Grab the latest
DiscordWear.apkfrom the Releases page - Transfer it to your watch with
adb(step by step below), or with a tool like Wear Installer - If installing directly on the watch, allow installs from unknown sources when prompted
After you got your .apk from Releases
You need the Android platform-tools (adb) on your computer, and your watch and computer on the same Wi-Fi.
- On the watch: Settings → System → About → tap Build number 7 times (this unlocks Developer options)
- Settings → Developer options → turn on ADB debugging, then Wireless debugging
- Put the watch on its charger and keep the screen on (Wi-Fi dozes otherwise and the connection dies)
- Tap Pair new device, then on your computer run (numbers come from the watch screen):
adb pair <watch-ip>:<pair-port> <6-digit-code>
- Go back, tap the Wireless debugging row itself for the details screen, and connect using the IP address & Port shown there (This is a different port than pairing! Using the wront port won't work):
adb connect <watch-ip>:<port> adb devices # your watch should show up
- Install (
-rkeeps your data on updates, the path to apk could also be different):adb install -r /Downloads/DiscordWear.apk
Ports and codes expire after a couple of minutes... if a step fails, just generate fresh ones and retry quickly. If adb install complains about signatures (INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE), uninstall first (adb uninstall com.zaffox.discordwear), knowing you will have to log in again
- Turn off your VPN (on the computer AND the watch). VPNs reroute traffic and silently break computer <-> watch connections, this alone can waste an evening (I know what i'm talking about).
- Same network, really. No guest Wi-Fi, no phone hotspot mix-ups. But wired computer + wireless watch is fine as long as the router bridges them.
- Keep the screen awake the whole time. Screen off = Wi-Fi likely killed = dead connection and expired numbers.
- Pair port ≠ connect port. Pairing port + code come together from Pair new device; the connect port lives alone on the details screen (tap the row text). Mixing them fails every time.
- Already paired once ? You never need a code again: just the current connect port.
- Still stuck ? Use Wear Installer from your phone instead, and remember: after the first install, updates arrive on-watch by themselves via Settings > Check for updates.
- adb is a one-time thing (thank you google)
Important
If you have the original app installed, you must uninstall it first !
This fork is signed with a different key, so installing over the original fails (with the following unclear error: "App not installed"). You will need to log in again after installing.
Allowing notifications lets the app run in the background almost all the time. This may use more battery. If you prioritize battery life, consider disabling notification permissions.
This is a 3rd party client, and the discord people don't like that. Using this app goes against their ToS and could lead to a ban (even if the risk is pretty low). I am not responsible for it if your account gets banned.
The app logs in via Discord's device-linking flow:
- The watch displays a QR code
- Open the Discord app on your phone and go to Profile → Scan QR Code
- Scan the code on the watch and confirm the login prompt
The app also offers two fallbacks: pasting your token directly on the watch, or letting the watch run a tiny local web server (same Wi-Fi network) where you can submit the token from a phone/PC browser.
Your token is stored locally and exclusively on the watch
As you already know, this is not an official Discord client. It uses Discord's private user API, which is against Discord's Terms of Service and may result in your account being suspended or banned. Use at your own risk.
Requirements: JDK 17, Android SDK (API 36).
