k8s annotations do not show error tooltips

When importing or creating a new service with k8s annotations that have errors, the errors are displayed. The error badge is displayed properly on the sidebar and canvas, but not the actual text.

Investigated and found that text areas are not displaying tooltips. fields and other tags display fine, but the annotations are in a text area element. Need to figure this out.
