Negative Contributions

The file with the candidate_id in the contributions has negative values for amount. Seems weird....

Sorry to have left this forever. Just looking back at the tutorial now after using it for NICAR. Those negative values typically represent refunds from the campaign (money over the limit or that they can't accept for some reason). Probably confusing in a tutorial, though. I'll look into removing those when I update with 2016 data. Thanks for the heads-up.
