Hi,

I have a keyboard that helps me keep track of what's running in each terminal and even lets me switch to that terminal. I also have an app that displays this information at the top of the system tray, but it doesn't allow me to control anything.

These days, figuring out what's running in which Termux instance is largely a matter of guesswork based on processes and pty commands. It would be helpful if Termux provided an API for both external control and reading terminal output.

It would also be helpful if I could open more than 8 terminals.

Adding API to get terminal buffer for a session should be possible, similar to how share transcript works. Can be considered in future.

You can open more than 8 terminals with RUN_COMMAND intent by using $PREFIX/bin/login as executable.
