Integer overflow error in `StratifiedCoordinateSampler` class

Hi, see here for a description of the issue: 3dem#1.

This was not an issue specific to the filament picker, but I am not sure if this was fixed upstream so I started by flagging it there!

Hi @michael-0brien , this does seem to be a version-dependent auto-conversion. I saw the same thing using torch 2.5.1 with topaz 0.2.5, but it went away with downgrading torch to 1.4.0.

I'm not sure what torch version causes this, but the latest versions of topaz don't use this sampler so it won't be a problem going forward.
