Make a minor release that shows admin notice

Show admin notice on rtMedia transcoder setting page as below:

This plugin will be retired on May 31, 2025. We recommend removing the Transcoder plugin and switching to our new plugin, GoDAM, which includes powerful Digital Asset Management features along with video transcoding services. Install GoDAM now!

See if we acn link “Install GoDAM now” to trigger Core UX for plugin installation. E.g. the link could be https://wordpress.local/wp-admin/network/plugin-install.php?tab=plugin-information&plugin=transcoder&TB_iframe=true&width=772&height=666 (replace transcoder with our new plugin slug which is “dam” or “godam”).

“Install Now” anchor markup shall have css classes “thickbox open-plugin-details-modal” which shall trigger the Core UX.

Hii @prasadnevase @nitun @Pradeep1308, I have few questions regarding the same.

transcoder plugin
As GoDam replaces the transcoder plugin, will clicking on Install Now trigger the installation of GoDam while replacing the transcoder plugin or do we have to keep the original transcoder plugin as well?

rtmedia plugin
on the rtmedia plugin, do we have to link Install GoDam Now to https://wordpress.org/plugins/godam/ or do we have to trigger Core UX for plugin installation here too.

It should just trigger the installation of GoDAM it should not remove the transcoder plugin.

As discussed we need to show a banner like this and link "Check out now" button to https://godam.io site opening in new tab.

@prasadnevase there are a few more changes which I am working on,

• We have a new banner which needs to be added on rtMedia plugin.
• Updating transcoder notice, so that it appears on transcoder settings as well as on the main dashboard page
• Remove license notice from the transcoder as it is not required anymore.
• Making rtmedia banner visible on all the tabs of rtMedia plugin.
