Why do you eject?

I'm trying to poll for my own curiosity... If you do eject - or have since v3 - why did you do so? What required the ejection?

Before I knew about rewired, I used to eject to customize webpack/babel. For example, ant design components require you to use webpack settings to change its default colors.

(Next.js helped with this a lot with its .babelrc and next.config.js support)
