Size of Winget source became so large

[Chi Lei (lychichem)]

This version of winget source is larger than 30MB, and it used to be just in 10 MB. I don't know whether you left something not cleaned in the release. Few new package added shouldn't make the size of this source grow sharply.

Chi Lei (@lychichem) - Is this the V2 version of the source, or is it unspecified? Which version of the CLI are you using?

[Chi Lei (lychichem)]

Now it is not specified, but I remember it used to be v2. I'm using v1.29.30-preview

[Kaleb Luedtke (Trenly)]

Interesting. I wonder if there is some transient error that is causing the V2 source to be unavailable for you, causing the client to fall back to the V1 source

[Kaleb Luedtke (Trenly)]

Would you be able to share the log file from winget source update --verbose ?

After using your command, it changed to v2, and the size became OK.
