I like this new setup! I have 1 personal note:

1. The 'create commit' button is blending in with the text fields above it. I understand only wanting to have the Push and Pull be a filled color, but i think a secondary button color would work better there to make that stand out and not look like a text field. You could also consider right aligning that button instead of making it fill the space to further differentiate.

@mgz513, done in v1.3.0, and then some. Commit is now a proper filled primary button (same style as Push and Pull), and the broader readability pass you suggested made it into this release after all: the whole UI is roughly 30% larger (text, buttons, spacing), the window sizes itself to its content, and you can drag-resize it. There are also zoom shortcuts now (Ctrl/Cmd +, −, 0, or Ctrl/Cmd + scroll) so you can set your own size. The main view is reorganized too: Changes first, each with a checkbox, then Commit and Ready to push, with Mapping collapsing out of the way once your files are set up.
