trying to install .net sdk for C#

Describe the bug.

the pop up window that asks for permission does not last for long. it only pop up for a second, not giving me a chance to accept.

Reproduction Steps

I'm unsure, I just installed c# and attempted to do the next step of installing the .NET extension.

Expected Behavior

it should allow me to grant permission, but it is not working.
